Furnishing the seat of a national energy company
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is the state-owned oil company of Abu Dhabi and stands as the largest oil company in the United Arab Emirates, recognized as the world’s 12th largest oil producer. ADNOC’s operations span the entire hydrocarbon value chain — exploration, production, storage, refining, distribution, and petrochemical development.
ADNOC’s origins trace back to the 1930s, when the first geological surveys were conducted in Abu Dhabi, closely linked to the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who recognized the transformative potential of the emirate’s oil and gas resources. The company continues to invest in production capacity and new technologies, maintaining its leadership in the energy sector.
For the 27-floor New Headquarters Building, Trans Seas was entrusted with the design, custom manufacture, and installation of executive furniture across every division of the tower — from private offices to reception and dining areas.
Custom executive furniture, floor by floor
Desks & Credenzas
Over 250 credenzas and desks, all specially designed and custom built for the executive offices of each division — including reception desks, large and small conference tables, and dining tables. Finished in flat-cut mahogany with closed-pore tops and open-pore vertical surfaces.
Conference & Meeting Tables
Over 100 conference and meeting tables designed, custom made, and finished in flat-cut mahogany wood with closed-pore finish tops. Every table was fitted with integrated voice, data, and power connections to meet UAE electrical and technical requirements.
Side & End Tables
Nearly 200 small side and end tables were custom made and finished to match the executive furniture program, then installed throughout the closed offices of the New Headquarters.
